Turkey bags, pre-cut flat bags and roll-stock bags found in retail stores are not used in professional food packaging applications and should not be used to keep trichomes fresh. They expose the flower to oxygen and convert THCa to CBNa.

These low-grade products have a high permeability rate allowing outside air to exchange with the inside air. This will oxidize flower and degrade any lab potency tests. Not to mention off-gas of fumes can leach onto your products, tainting their quality and value.

Any air-compressor with these minimum specs: 6 cubic feet per minute @90PSI (6 CFM @90PSI).There are many brands of air-compressors; some are louder than others and come with larger storage tanks. Contact your local hardware store or air-compressor dealer near you.

Whatever you buy, it must have the minimum spec requirements otherwise the vacuum sealer will not operate properly and voids warranty.

See operator instructions:

1. Remove from box, set aside spare sealing parts, blue cords and power cord.
2. Set Up Air Filter by removing the two phillips-head screws from back of filter. Mount filter to metal bracket by using the same two screws and screw tightly into same holes that they were removed.
3. Power up Air-Compressor (6 cubic feet per minute @ 90 PSI spec. requirements) and set regulator to 110 PSI.
4. Take ¼” thick blue air tube to connect into back of sealer titled (air). Make sure connection is snug.
5. Take opposite end of blue tube that has a male adapter and screw into female air-compressor adapter. Take two pliers to tighten. That will activate the snorkel and raise the seal bar.
6. Plug power cord into the back of the vacuum sealer and turn switch on (lights up when on).
7. Attach “Work Tray” with the two screws secured to the bottom of the tray. This is ideal for 1lb pouches. Take tray off to use 10lb Pouches.
8. Set and keep “GAS” dial and “Vacuum Dial” to Zero (0).
9. Set “Heat” to 4.
10. Set “Cool” to 10.
11. Set Foot Pedal to the right or left of the sealer to operator’s preference.
12. Place zippered pouch on side and tap the bottom to bring product in the pouch close to the zipper. Open zipper at snorkel and insert pouch. Slide forward enough to place pouch on Teflon strip. Avoid sealing the zipper or the tear-notch.
13. Take both hands and pull top of pouch taught in opposite directions. Step onand keep pressure on the foot pedal. Take foot pedal once desired vacuum is achieved and pouch will be sealed.

TF Sealers are set up to package thousands of pouches before needing a heat seal replacement, but when they do begin show overuse and abuse, click on the link Heat Strip Replacement and follow these simple step x step instructions:

1. Remove Seal Bar.
2. Peel off old Teflon tape and clean any debris with rubbing alcohol and clean rag. Soap and water works well too.
3. Loosen two round screws on each end of heating element. Use pliers.
4. Loosen the tension of the old metal heating element and remove metal heating element, discard.
5. Take new heating element (make sure length of heating element is the same length as your seal bar) and place round screws back in the same position that were taken off.
6. Tighten round screws with pliers. (Important to keep heating element screwed tightly to prevent arching of your heating element)- and increasing the life span.
7. Remove the one-sided adhesive from new Teflon tape and gently place over metal heating element, sticking the Teflon to base of the sealer and over the metal heating element.
8. Reattach seal bar and tighten bolts at top, but not too tight to prevent the rods.
